I just watched this video of this Lybian woman who was gang raped by 15 of Qaddafi's men today. She spoke out against the dictator and was gang raped. Here is the video:
She was carted off screaming that they would kill her. In one scene, the government men put a cloth bag over her head. They shoved her in a car and apparently took her to jail. Yet, she was screaming that her life was in danger for speaking out.
Liberty and Freedom of Speech are not something to take for granted. To have your writs bound to your ankles and to be gang raped by 15 men because you spoke out against the regime?! We must preserve our right in America to question our government leaders and not be afraid of retaliation. Remember Joe the Plumber? He asked a question that then-candidate Obama didn't like and he was practically crucified for it. Small concessions lead to the bigger ones. Let's watch this video and remember that we still have our First Amendment right to free speech. Let's use it. Question your leaders. Hold them accountable to The People.
My heart goes out to this woman and I pray for her safety.
