A Blog is Born...
Welcome to my new Blog! I am still in the design phase of this project, but I wanted to invite you guys to offer up your thoughts and suggestions on the design, style, layout, content, etc. The idea is simple. Since I live in Iowa and all the candidates come to our state a so
lid 10 months before our caucus, there are tons of events. I thought since I go to a lot of the political gatherings I would bring along my FLIP camera and try to ask the candidates questions. Then, I thought it might be fun to have other people ask questions, too!

Then, I thought it might be fun to have other people ask questions, too!To increase traffic on my Blog, I am going to include candidate information and links, too. I will be adding a YouTube page for the videos and I have a Facebook page started already. So, what else am I missing? If you live in another state or just want to be more informed without going to rallies, what additional information can I provide you? Please feel free to send me your comments and suggestions. Before I unleash this to the world, I want to make sure I get the kinks worked out!! Thanks in advance for your help! :)
I think it's a great idea. Last election there was a kid who went around getting his picture taken with presidential primary candidates and even the national media gave him lots of attention. I know, having worked in the media for 10-years that they are always looking for interesting stories surrounding the headlines...maybe use your son to do some of it from the youth's perspective. Would be good if you could maybe personalize your candidates a little more. I used to write feature stories and know people love to get to know about the man/woman behind the headlines.
ReplyDeletePerhaps your blog will be know for discovering what other media doesn't. Sort of a "This Is Your Life" behind the scenes. Just my thoughts...for what it's worth. :)
